Room 7's Science Fair presentations.
We started off deciding what a good topic would be, or what we wanted to find out. Our science fair had to be a fair test, which means only changing one variable. Next, we started typing our question, materials, method, controls and hypothesis. We gathered our materials together and started our fair test. While doing our fair test we recorded our results. Later we typed up our results and conclusion and created an effective title. After backing it we collected our information, photos and samples( if we had any ) and glued them on to our science boards. Some of us wanted to make ours a bit more effective and painted them a cool colour. When we had finished we went around the classes and observed other science boards. We enjoyed looking at all the other ways of presenting.
We hope you enjoy looking at our awesome movie of room 7's presentations.!!
I was really impressed with the high standard of work by Room 7 students. There was obviously in depth investigation and fair testing happening and the presentation of the findings was outstanding! Well done. I look forward to seeing new things on your blog in Term 3.

This looks like alot of work and effort went into preparing the science boards.
ReplyDeleteI do like the sound of melting chocolate or icecream more than mouldy bread or smelly cheese though...
Your presentation of your Science Fair work was fantastic Room 7! Also, I love the commentary on the video Aleesha. A career in broadcasting maybe?? I was really impressed with the creativity in your ideas and the questions you posed and investigated. These are wonderful skills for you to be developing and I know your College teachers will be very impressed with the grounding you have received in researching!
